LOVE Island winner Dani Dyer has revealed that Longford model Maura Higgins is her favourite contestant in this year’s villa.
The 23-year-old – who won the last series with Jack Fincham before they split – find the Irish star “hilarious” and reckons she’s brought a lot of entertainment to the villa.
Dani told Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio One: “I love Maura. I find her hilarious and I think the villa really did need that. She’s really shaken things up.
“She’s just got such a good personality and in a place like that you need to be able to have a laugh really and she’s definitely bringing that to the table.”
Dani reckons people are taking Maura too seriously.

She added: “She’s just funny. I think people are taking her way too seriously like its just a reality show you’ve got to have fun.
“And I think she’s entertaining and definitely brings entertainment to the show.”
And Dani backed Tommy Fury to win this year’s series.
When asked to describe Love Island to an audience that has never watched the show, Danny told Irish radio listeners: “I would describe Love Island as something you can just go home to and switch off.
“You can just watch it and enjoy it because everyone loves love and everyone loves seeing relationships unfold.”
However, the star admitted that the show should definitely be limited to an underage audience and that her parents used to only let her little sister watch certain bits when she was on the island last summer.

Meanwhile, Love Island gets tense tonight as Arabella Chi snogs Curtis Pritchard as part of a game – and he rates her ten out of ten.
The problem is, blindfolded Curtis rated his ‘half-girlfriend’ Amy Hart only seven out of ten so she’s left furious at him.
The row comes as the Islanders play the blindfolded kissing game – where the lads have to snog all the girls while wearing an eyemask, then rate them out of ten.
