FORMER Love Island star Dani Dyer revealed the reason behind her twin girls’ names
The former ITV2 reality star hosted a Q&A session for her fans online, where she was asked about the meaning of the monikers.
Dani and West Ham boyfriend Jarrod Bowen, both 26, previously revealed that they had welcomed their twin baby girls into the world last month.
But the star took to her social media to answer questions from her enthusiastic followers.
Sharing a sweet picture of the young family, she wrote: “I’ve always loved the name Star since I was a little girl and watched the film the lost boys and the vampire was called star.
“Jarrod always liked the name Summer so it was an easy decision!”
However, the TV personality also revealed that she had a backup name in mind as she added: “I loved the name Luna as well,” alongside a heart emoji.
This comes after the former Love Island star revealed the sweet names she’s given her twin daughters.
The Love Island star has called her identical newborns Summer and Star – days after giving birth.
She shared the names by dressing the twins she shares with West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen in pink playsuits, which read “I’m summer, that’s my sister Star.”
Dani captioned the gorgeous photograph: “Our first week together and enjoying every moment of the newborn bubble.
“It’s been amazing watching Santi be a big brother he has melted my heart in ways I couldn’t imagine and he just feels like such a big boy all of a sudden.
“My heart feels so so full and so excited for our journey together as a family of 5.”
The 26-year-old suffered backlash from trolls over naming her one-year-old son Santiago, who she shares with her ex Sammy Kimmence.
Thankfully it didn’t put her off sharing the names of her newborns who were born on May 22.
